XRBG-3 UP SCAN CONVERTER UNIT

[introduction] - [unit description] - [equipment and connections] - [photos and impressions] - [menu] - [final words]

With this guide, I want to thank the wonderful guy behind this incredibily detailed and useful guide on deinterlacers for old consoles, Fudoh, that spared nothing even after me sending mail after mail asking him what was already written in his guide. I also want to thank Jacob Iyamu, that was so kind to hunt down a brand new XRGB-3 for me with no question asked; you can check Jabob's website if you are interested in a XRGB-3 unit yourself. Without them this guide won't be here.
Nor it would have been possible without the great people at NTSC-UK or Shumpus and whoever contributed in some way to any translation guide for this little upscaler box.

And so these ten or so pages are born. I won't pretend it's the ultimate guide to the XRGB-3 as I lack in Japanese comprehension and higher levels of video connectivity knowledge, so think to this as something that someone with a huge passion for videogames will (hopefully) browse through to see if Micomsoft last product is what he or she is looking for.

I already plan to further expand this guide with more consoles and games, and to update existing information if I there is a new firmware, I figure how to get a better picture or I simply find a better translation for the Japanese OSD.

Enjoy.
